Still no sign of spring here... still that nasty sinus infection with headache... still tulips...
What's new, however, is the colour of my tulips.
Yellow and orange red are normally not my first choice of colour, but I must say that I love the energy of that combination - just perfect for Kim Klassen's "Flower Power" edition of Texture (ahem) Tuesday, for which I added Kim's texture "Sea".
Have a wonderful Easter Weekend everyone with flowers and sunshine and lots of Easter eggs!
Looks like spring in a vase. Nice vibrant colors.
ReplyDeleteLovely light indeed. Sending a bit of sunshine you way.
ReplyDeleteWarm regards,
Karla
Lovely tulips...I bought some this color earlier this year and loved them. Sure hope you feel better soon...need to get well so you can enjoy Spring, whenever it decides to come.
ReplyDeleteNo sign of spring. That stinks, but I get a fiery sense from this image paired with the coolness of that texture. Not to mention that great POV. Happy weekend Rosie.
ReplyDeleteWonderful composition and pov in this image, Rosie! The color combo in these tulips send out warm vibes -- so pretty! Have a wonderful weekend, amiga!
ReplyDeleteComposition and reflection are just gorgeous... the color takes my breath away.
ReplyDeleteI do hope you feel better soon, Rosie! Still no sign of spring here, either ... in fact, they are predicting 2 inches of snow this Monday! Well, while we're waiting for it to arrive, we can sure enjoy the beauty of all these flowers this week! I really love your tulips ... those colors are so vibrant and you have such wonderful composition here! Want to thank you for visiting my flowers, too! :) And, I hope you have a blessed Easter weekend, as well!!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you are still not feeling well! Hope you will be feeling as bright and vibrant as these tulips soon. Gorgeous colors and comp. :)

They may still be tulips but they are so pretty. I like the hot colours of red and yellow. I just bought myself some as I am like you, still not flowers to see in the garden. Hope you start to feel better, I am finally getting over my own sinus infection, yah...head really is attached to the rest of me:) Jen
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty tulips, Rosie !
ReplyDeleteYesterday we had some snow ... we're all longing for warm sunny spring days ... :-)
Happy Easter,
Sylvia
ps I've already eaten chocolate eggs, couldn't resist them :-)
I love this color combination because it so cheerful, Rosie.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear that you're still not feeling well, and I do hope you start feeling better real soon.
Happy Easter to you, dear friend.
xo.
So beautiful! I can so relate to your sinus issues Rosey. Ugh. It's gonna be a long spring and summer.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you are not feeling too well. Hopefully the tulips cheered you up a bit. Such vibrant colours and love your choice of composition. I do miss the spring flowers here.
ReplyDeletePreciosa fotografía, hermosa toma y composición!
