Still The Same

Still no sign of spring here... still that nasty sinus infection with headache... still tulips...

What's new, however, is the colour of my tulips.

Yellow and orange red are normally not my first choice of colour, but I must say that I love the energy of that combination - just perfect for Kim Klassen's "Flower Power" edition of Texture (ahem) Tuesday, for which I added Kim's texture "Sea".

    Lovely tulips...I bought some this color earlier this year and loved them. Sure hope you feel better soon...need to get well so you can enjoy Spring, whenever it decides to come.

    No sign of spring. That stinks, but I get a fiery sense from this image paired with the coolness of that texture. Not to mention that great POV. Happy weekend Rosie.

    I do hope you feel better soon, Rosie! Still no sign of spring here, either ... in fact, they are predicting 2 inches of snow this Monday! Well, while we're waiting for it to arrive, we can sure enjoy the beauty of all these flowers this week! I really love your tulips ... those colors are so vibrant and you have such wonderful composition here!     They may still be tulips but they are so pretty. I like the hot colours of red and yellow. I just bought myself some as I am like you, still not flowers to see in the garden. Hope you start to feel better, I am finally getting over my own sinus infection, yah...head really is attached to the rest of me:) Jen
