In the blink of an eye, August Break was over, and also the first 3 weeks of September. And with that same blink, summer has turned into autumn with temperatures in the low fifties and a lot of rain.
Today, the sun has come out again and brought back memories of warmer days. Honestly, I'm not ready for autumn yet...
It is incredible how fast time flies, isn't it... I do love autumn, but it is also so fleeting, it makes me feel sad. This is a lovely photo, great perspective!
I'm not either, Rosie, but here in NY, it has definitely arrived. The color of the flowers is being replaced by leaf color, and although pretty, I prefer the flowers! :-)

Hi Rosie! We had the shock of two nights of hard freezes after a long, HOT summer. It's chilly now but is supposed to get warm again in a few days. Autumn to me means winter is coming, and I really don't like that! Love your floral image!
