It's Mid-November and a daisy was the last thing I would have expected to find on a photo walk these days - but here it is!
As a contribution to
Justine's November in Black and White I converted the photo, although it looked so pretty in the green grass with the brown leaves as backdrop.
Well, see for yourself... I think I prefer the colour version. What do you think?
I wish you a colourful Monday!
The black and white is really dramatic, I think they are both lovely - I am finding this black and white very tough! thankyou for all your lovely encouraging comments.
ReplyDeleteI cant decide. I think they are on par with each other. Browns and green tend to be a similar tone in B&W. But the daisy is beautifully captured.
ReplyDeleteI like them both Rosie, but I think I will go with the color one. Just that it reminds me of summer, and I am so missing that right now!
ReplyDeleteI love both as well, but I may also lean towards the color. So nice to see some color on a Monday!
ReplyDeletethis is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI like both of them for different reasons.
ReplyDeleteI love it in black and white Rosie!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your wonderful comments.
I love both photos. That white flower just pops in the black and white shot.. Very well done..
ReplyDeleteHugs, Linda
I like both photos too, but the B&W is more dramatic. It's hard to believe that a daisy can still be around in November.
ReplyDeleteWhat a find! One surviving bloom. It is good to see both versions, they are equally lovely. Love the idea of a photo walk!
ReplyDeleteThe colour version is my favourite, mainly because a girl needs all the colour she can get at this time of year (well, *this* girl does)! ..A lovely reminder of sunnier days. :)
