SOOC
On my little photo walk yesterday I saw this cat only a few steps away from me and the word "photo" must have been written all over my face. I guess she could read it, as she escaped over a fence and eyed my suspiciously from the other side.
I spent almost 10 minutes there, talking softly and making little noises until she finally decided to come out again, taking large circles around me and then, in the end, letting me touch and stroke her - just a tiny little bit. As she looked up at me, I knew I had to get that camera out of the bag with my free hand and try my luck to capture those eyes. It was this one shot and she was gone again.
I'm glad I tried it, but even if I hadn't succeeded in taking this photo I enjoyed the quiet time with this shy little lady after the hectic of last week.
I will link this up Lisa's Creative Exchange where I hope to visit all the wonderful entries over the next few days. I will also take this as a contribution to Kat's theme "Waiting to Click", because wait I did...!
Have a wonderful week everyone!

Oh, she is just too precious Rosie! I smile as I am reading this, because i too was out on a photo walk this weekend, and somehow "picked up" a cat. She followed me for blocks, and laid down in every cluster of flowers I tried to photograph!! Did not get many photos because of her, but the walk was also wonderfully memorable because of her.
Thank you so much for sharing this today at The Creative Exchange. Truly perfect for it.
Have a great evening Rosie!

I am glad you got that shot for me to see. But I wonder if the dark eye is wonded somehow. Maybe you meet with her again.
What a sweet looking kitty! Animals and kids are so hard to capture -- your patience was rewarded.
Never have I seen such eyes on a kitty. Wow! Thanks for taking the time to get this shot. :)
Beautiful photo - those are great eyes!!
Look at those eyes! LOVE it.
Your patience with this beautiful cat resulted in a gorgeous portrait!
How fortunate that Kitty stayed just for your camera, Rosie! Lovely image.
Stunning. I love the two I have. This little lady looks very sweet. I hope she has a home...
Amazing eyes. Your patience paid off!
What a sweet little kitty. So glad you took the time to enjoy her and she rewarded you with a capture. I can't believe I was never a cat person til a year or so ago. So much I missed. This cutie has quite the sweet face.
She looks so sweet.. So glad you shared her with us..
Hugs, Linda
what a gorgeous cat and I love that the eyes are slightly different, fantastic!
Lovely kitty, what amazing eyes! Are they really different colors or do they just appear that way because of the difference in the fur and the light? Your patience paid off. Thank you so much for linking in to Exploring with a Camera!
She is a beautiful cat and I'm glad your patience won her round in the end. her eyes are amazing! I wonder if you'll ever see her again?
Awww, you have a kind heart. Such a sweet photo of this beautiful little kitty.
Awww, she's definitely a beauty... look at those eyes! =) I hope she wasn't mistreated by someone & that's why she was so leery to approach you
Oh how I love that little pink nose!
Have a wonderful week to you too!
Gorgeous photo. How cool.
she's terribly sweet! We have a little black cat that hops over the fence and visits the kids once in a while.
Beautiful and interesting

Oh Rosie! She is such a sweet looking kitty, and reminds me of my Shatzie. I am a crazy cat lady, so I love this post. LOL! Isn't it funny how something like a sweet cat can sooth your stress away? When I get home from work my 2 cats curl up with me and purr, and I swear my blood pressure drops back to normal. :-)
