Finally a few days off - to relax, take photo walks and have the time to notice even the small things around me.
I spotted this little guy on a walk this morning. Normally, I'm not such a huge fan of snails (although I admire their houses), but detecting this one somehow felt like the epitome of unwinding. It just made me happy and I thought it would be ideal for Lisa's Creative Exchange.
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and a great start into the week.

I love this Rosie!
Being able to capture him on the leaf shows just how small he really is!
You sure had your eyes open for this one!
I am so glad you are getting some downtime my dear friend!
Thank you so much for sharing this today at The Creative Exchange.
I wish you a wonderful day!
lisa.
I don't like snails much either, Rosie, but you managed to frame this one so nicely that it looks really cute. So glad you have some time for R&R!
Gorgeous!! I like snails - but more so the escargot kind (in garlic! LOL) Great shot!
I would have totally missed this. You have a good eye! Great photo to demonstrate a slower pace today. :)
What a find - for some reason, I think snails are cool....but only when I have a camera!
So sweet, Rosie......I'd love to paint a miniature of this one if you'd give me permission.
What a beautiful shot!
It may be small, but it still makes big holes.
Having to demolish between 2 and 4 thousand snails each season, I am not too enamoured either :-)
You must have been extremely relaxed to feel comfortable in its company today.
very nice. it is fun to catch nature in action.
This is beautiful Rosie, I haven't seen one of those in a long time. Enjoy your time off...sounds like you have a stressful career like me!
I love this shot!
I just love this shot.. We don't see many snails here in the desert.. Hope you had a wonderful Easter..
Hugs, Linda
A snail! Cool shot!
Don't you find that photography has really helped you notice more things? Love your little snail. What a great find!
I love this shot of the tiny snail, Rosie! It may be a garden pest, but this one is cute!
As snails go...this is a sweet one. The relaxation obviously helped your vision-I likely would have missed this little leaf lounger.
