Having people treat you badly is bad enough, but not being able to shrug it off and keeping anger and frustration trapped in your head by constantly replaying words and scenes is even worse...
Sometimes, seeing the beauty of flowers helps to refocus - at least for a little while...

Oh Rosie, it seems I go through that too (especially when work gets tough), I'm so sorry. I love your refocus, both the beautiful photo and the idea. Sending good thoughts as the weekend starts.

Hi Rosie, you are struggling with an all too common occurrence. It is easier to remember the bad than it is the good and that is why we consciously have to give thanks and be grateful for the little things, the good things that happen every day. I am also guilty of having a long memory and I've let many things bother me for years until I stop and realize that the person who wronged me isn't losing sleep over this so why should I. Sorry, don't mean to preach. I feel your pain.
I find writing everything down helps me a lot. I keep a special book for the times when my brain starts to overload. All my feelings and emotions are written down, sometimes through tears, but I find it helps.
Hope you find more beautiful things to help you refocus.

Sending hugs. That happens to me too. I get all worked up when someone is nasty and chews me out. Most of the time it's "their" stuff not mine getting in the way. Hope these flowers switched up your mind set, and if not all these wonderful comments did.
Oh dear Rosie! I do the same thing...it's so hard to wipe your mind clean of those nasty things someone says or does sometimes...it's something I continually work on because it only hurts me more. Love your thoughts on refocusing....lovely shot of flowers! Feel better my friend!
