So playing with textures it is again today for Texture Tuesday on a photo of one of my favourite subjects - and aren't hydrangeas just beautiful in every state?
processed with Kim Klassen's texture lightpaper 4 |
I'm really grateful for this weekly link-up, as it helps me setting up a routine - not only for playing with textures, but also for showing up more regularly here again.
If you have any tricks how you stay in practice with your photo processing (and posting...) - I'd love to hear!
Have a wonderful week everyone!

Love the elegant simplicity of this! Yes, it is a great weekly event when Kim posts her TT and FF. So fun to see what everyone has been doing and photographing.
I do love hydrangeas at any stage of their life! This is wonderful! I stay in the loop with the encouragement of all of Kim's linkups ... and I guess I simply love to blog ... :)
Beautiful image to start a routine! I look forward to more!
So lovely! I love hydrangeas in every state too. I have to agree with Barb, the link-ups help keep a routine (and a chance to see some beautiful images from all of the other linkers).
Your image of the hydrangea, so crisp against the white background with every stem and petal gently on display, is elegant and timeless. Since I have a limited supply of time and energy, I direct my photo editing and blogging toward those activities that give me the greatest joy - that would be link-ups with Kim - such an encouraging and kind group of people - worth the time in every way!
So delicate & beautiful!
Rosie, this is just gorgeous.
I love the wonderful simplicity and tones.
Yes, I love hydrangeas in every stage as well! How beautiful to capture it like this - I love it!
I don't work on my photos very regularly either, but I would love to. I wish there was more of a routine - but it is just not happening.
I agree with you - hydrangeas are always beautiful! Love this shot - so soft and simple.
This is so lovely!
Gorgeous I love the simplicity of the shot your process is lovely. Thanks for visiting today. I wish I could say that I have a perfect way to keep my creativity flourishing being in touch with all my blogging friends helps a lot.
Lovely image.
Simply beautiful, Rosie! I need routines too, but have been falling away from mine. I think I need to establish some new ones or the days just seem to get away from me.
Beautifully simple. I am glad you are joining us.
I appreciate kindred spirits who see the beauty everywhere...even in decaying and dried up old leaves and blossoms. And you captured it beautifully. I also noticed that you take photos of the 'backs' of flowers... I do that too!
You certainly have an eye for simple yet beautiful photography and your shot today is a perfect example…..
I too love hydrangeas at whatever age….
You've proven that the hydrangea is beautiful in stage of its life. So good to see you posting more often! I don't have a formula for staying on track as I seem to be having difficulty lately with the same thing.
