Creative Exchange

I know, I'm a bit late for it, but I wanted to participate at Lisa's Creative Exchange. This is a macro shot of a star made of glass, and as you can see I was playing around with Kim Klassen's textures again.

I don't feel so very creative at the moment and it's really difficult for me to focus. Is it just me or are you also having difficulties to get everything done and still have time for your creative projects?

I wish you a creative Wednesday!

Well I think this is incredibly creative. All I want to do at the moment is stay in bed with my electric blanket and eat lots of chocolate! it is sooo cold and I live in an old house with lots of holes and it is very chilly.

It looks very effective, and I know exactly what you mean! I have two lists at the moment. One of what I HAVE to do and one of what I WANT to do, and I am finding it hard to get through either!!!

I see incredible creativity here, and love what you keep doing with textures! I'm also not feeling my most creative these days - with work pressures and maybe just general holiday-mania. I also just want to curl up per Justine, under warm blankets with a hot beverage in hand!

I really like the star cast shadow it makes. The neutral background texture is perfect. I think we all are struggling with creativity this busy time of year! I hope to post something creative later today.

I think this is really quite creative (and lovely) Rosie. I am definitely having difficulties getting everything done, but since that always happens to me at this time of year, I guess I've grown kind of used to it. Truly, I don't like it, but I also know it will pass when things slow down for me a bit.

This photo is truly lovely -- you are getting so good at using textures! This time of year can be really hectic. Yoga is the only thing keeping me grounded these days. Hope you find so time to relax.

I think you did a great job with the texture and the star! I am starting to feel the pressure too and it is hard to focus.

I thought this was an amazing capture of a drop of water into a bowl of water at first. Which would be amazing, but so is this. I find it very hard to put time aside to paint and draw... And our Christmas tree is still waiting tone decorated. Waiting for all six kids to be together...

You are not alone! I especially find it hard to complete creative projects around the holidays. There is just so much to get done that sometimes I have a hard time keeping up. However, I do think your photo looks wonderful and the added texture does a great job drawing your focus to the star.

I too have the same problem from time to time. I always think I have to venture out somewhere to take great pictures, sometimes the great pictures are of the everyday things we see or even don't see. Your macro shot is great. The shadow of the star really highlights it the best.
