Movement
Time is moving so fast, racing would be the more appropriate word, and much too fast for my liking. I feel like I've been hit by a wave, drawn into the sea and struggling to keep my head above the water. Very exhausting and not much fun... So I decided to go with the waves and adjust my rhythm.
I plan to carve out more time again for all those things I love and miss like photographing, playing around with textures and PSE, posting, reading your blogs, contributing to my flickr groups and also admiring the fabulous photos there. I'm aware that it won't work at once and I will get hit by a wave once in a while again, but it's a plan, isn't it?
Today's photo is from my archives - I chose it as it fits my feelings so perfectly. I'll link it up to Lisa's Creative Exchange, where you'll find a great post and interesting links over the next few days. This is also my first contribution to Justine's March theme, which is a real challenge for me.
I hope you have a great start into the week!

And now I really want to be sitting by the ocean!
Wow, this is a amazing image. I can feel the spray on my face and smell the sea air!
I think we all have these times Rosie. It's a part of life, but it is my belief that if we did not have these times, we would not appreciate the times our heads were comfortably above water nearly enough.
I love the way you alluded this feeling to your photograph.
Thank you so much for sharing this today at The Creative Exchange.
I hope you've had a wonderful start to your week.
lisa.
I can almost hear those waves come crashing in!
This sounds like a good plan,Rosie :)
How great to find the perfect photo for your state of mind! I love the ocean and this image is wonderful! I hope things calm down for you and you find the time to do the things that renew you.
I love ocean especially Atlantic. Our sea The Baltic sea is quite peaceful no big waves and no drama like in Atlantic but I love it anyway. I live on the shore and could not thinking to live anywhere else.
That is so beautiful picture.
Greetings from Finland
Life does sometimes get in the way of our fun, doesn't it? Hope you find play time again soon.
Woof Rosie!
I imagine crashing into those waves!
I think I should ask Keeper to bring us to the beach this summer. ;-)
Lovely photo of crashing waves and sea foam spray!
Fine picture , i like waves.
Hiya Rosie,
Thank your for stopping by by C.E. post today.
I admire that picture of the explosive sea and ca n tell that it sums up your feelings about time and how it evaporates.
I think we're on the same journey. There never seems to be enough time. It just passes so quickly!
Yes...I missed your posts and beautiful photos! This is such a great capture of power and beauty combined.
Oh, I so wish I was sitting on the beach right now. There is just something so comforting about the sea. Love this post and hope to see you soon. Life is very much a journey, and sometimes it is a little busier than we would wish it to be.
this is such a fantastic capture for movement, rhythm, everything! there is something about watching the waves that makes everything right with the world.
This is mesmerizing and I will be at the east coast in a few weeks for my own opportunity. Too bad the movement challenge will be over! Glad you posted, I've been checking your blog. Life gets busy, that's for sure.
What a great shot.. I keep saying I need to grab some movement shots to add to the flikr pool. But I still haven't.. They are pretty difficult for me.. Yours looks wonderful.
Wonderful photo! I hope you'll be able to find the time to fit in all of the things you love to do.
What a perfectly lovely photo, and perfect to go with your post.
I completely understand your feeling, of being knocked under and struggling to keep up. I am in that same ocean with you. I am hopeful that during my spring break I can 'catch up' a bit, and work out a better plan for my time management. Sounds good right?
We all get hit by waves now and then. Love the photo and can't wait for warmer weather to enjoy some of those sunny days at the beach!
Amazing! Love waves- I NEED to make another trip to the beach.
Oh dear, sorry to hear that you're still struggling to keep your head above water. One of my favourite places to be is beside the sea, in all its moods. I love your photo and really hope that you can find a rhythm that allows you more time to do what you love.
Love this planet! I think the ocean image is perfect for your life right now because it has rhythm...and at times is calm and at times will crash on the beach...just like life---always changing..always reacting to the elements. It will be calm again! Until then, be gentle with yourself.

The power of the waves in the ocean is a perfect analogy for the overwhelming issues of life sometimes! I love ocean pics, so i gravitated to this one in the Creative Exchange thumbnail. Lovely shot of the waves.
Beautiful shot Rosie! Sorry to hear you are so stressed, that is no fun at all! I have many recordings of "ocean sounds" and sometimes I like to listen with a glass of wine taking deep breaths and it helps me to relax some.
