In A Hurry

Yesterday I planned on writing a little post for Lisa's Creative Exchange but somehow the day was over before I managed to get down to it. As I also wanted to participate in Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday today, I decided to combine these two wonderful challenges.

So, here is a photo of some tulips I bought on Friday. They were white when they were still closed, but they opened up over the weekend, displaying a wonderful pink and petals almost in the shape of a rose. I added Kim's beautiful "warmsun" texture, as was the rule for today's Texture Tuesday.

Unfortunately, I have to get some work done here, but I hope to be visiting your blogs again soon!

Have a wonderful week and take a look at all those beautiful links over at Lisa's and Kim's blogs.

What a nice surprise the pink must have been! The texture works so well!

Isn't it amazing how light can cause those petals to almost look transparent? (like glass?)
This gets my S3 vote: simple, soft, & satisfying to the eyes. Happy Tues. ;)

Well that photo doesn't look like in a hurry, its gorgeous. I want to hang it straight in the wall, its too pretty to be framed like painting from an artist. Lovely.

I love it when that happens! Lovely tulips. I bought some red ones and have been trying to capture them in different ways too.
