This is my contribution for
Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday. I know it's Wednesday already, but I still wanted to share this one with you.
This rose is one of the few that survived the cold temperatures, the rain and the storms and I thought I'd honour her with a little processing. I used two layers of Kim's freebie "Aurora" - I really like it on the photo, as it somehow integrates the brown spots on the petals in a beautiful way.

So beautiful and your texture is really subtle. I like that.
It's such a beautiful rose, too, Rosie! I agree with Ashley that the subtle texture is so nice.
I'm so glad I was able to enlarge this to see it closer up! The detail is spectacular and your processing is superb! Great composition!
So beautiful, I love yellow roses...they remind me of my mother, they were her favorite. :-)
A beautiful rose, your work with the texture is gorgeous, Rosie!
Such a gorgeous rose and love the shape of the petals. The texture gives it real depth and its just the right amount. Wonderful work!

Lovely! I tried using Aurora on a few things I shot recently and I didn't like the outcome. Gorgeous texture, though!
Gorgeous rose Rosie! Sounds like a tongue twister, doesn't it? Nice work with the textures too. ♥
I used Aurora on my chicken/coke photo and I must have opacity'd right out of the shot! This is so pretty. I love roses, especially the yellow. :)
Looks beautiful. The texture is the perfect accent.
This is so beautiful Rosie. The texture works perfectly. IT looks so fragile like very fine tissue paper. Beautiful processing!! :)
Your texture usage is so subtle and just perfect on this delicate and beautiful rose!
This rose looks so fragile and beautiful. I can almost smell it. Love the texture, too. Thanks for your kind comment.
