Something Warm

Our heating is still down, so I decided to light a few candles - I hope they warm up things a bit here...!

I added a layer of Kim's Stained Linen and two layers of KK2 and will link this up to Texture Tuesday. Do have a look there - not only are there amazing photos, I just discovered there is also a give-away today!

Now I'm off to move around a bit in my apartment - despite hot tea and layers of sweaters and blankets sitting around is not so enjoyable...!

I hope you are all good and warm!

When do you get your heat fixed???

When I saw the thumbnail of your candle in the sidebar of my blog, it reminded me of my first photo for the P52 challenge: I learned how to photograph "bokeh" with Christmas candles and lights on the tree! I do hope you get some heat soon!

Oh Rosie, no heat? How much longer until it's fixed? Have you taken to sitting in the car and running the heater yet? Or snuggling with a hot water bottle? Wish you lived nearby, you'd be welcome here anytime. Warm thoughts coming your way.

No heat? Oh no!

This photo is gorgeous! I love how the candle is just floating there in the darkness! The textures work really well with it, too!

I love this shot. It remind me of the Christmas Carols we used to go to when the children were younger.

Oh, I feel for you! That happened to my family a few years ago and it was out for a week!!! At least it inspired this wonderful shot. I enjoyed it. ~

Oh, no Rosie! No heat is not good this time of year. I hope it's back on by now.

Love your photo. Seems you and I had the same idea cross our minds this week.

Happy Thanksgiving, my friend. :)

A bright flame certainly warms the heart!...I hope you are more careful than me, we had an electrical blackout the other day and I successfully managed to catch my hair on fire on a lit flame!!!!
