Not Fair

Last Wednesday, after weeks and months of winter grey, spring decided to show up with sunshine and nice temperatures, luring out crocusses and snowbells from under the snow.

Last Wednesday, I woke up to a splitting headache and excrutiating sinus pain. I was in bed - that whole week of sunshine - battling that sinusitis and headache. As nothing really helped, I've got antibiotics now and supposedly I should feel better by the end of this week.

Needless to mention that it's grey and dreary again, with snow forecast for the weekend...

I tried to cheer myself up by linking to Kim's Texture Tuesday, where just a favorite photo either with or without textures was asked for. To be honest, choosing a photo when you are ill and in a bad mood isn't such a good idea... but here it is - another tulip processed with Kim's texture "vintage":

Before I'll make the tour to your blogs, I guess I'd better tuck my grumpy self into bed again and come back later.

Have a wonderful week everyone!

Oh no, sorry you're not well. Feel better soon. We've had a teaser of spring and then snow again too. :( On the bright side, I really love your image which you've processed beautifully. Here's to the end of the week and the antibiotics kicking in. :)

Oh, Rosie, I hope you are feeling better! That those sinus infections are awful. You did manage to create a lovely tulip image in spite of your illness. Healthful hugs coming your way.....

Oh now that just isn't fair at all! I ended up getting sick on my BIRTHDAY in Jan. These bugs really have some horrible timing. Hope you're all better and the sunshine joins you soon!

I spent my young adult years with sinus headaches....it seems that I have outgrown them, which is wonderful! Sorry that you've been miserable, but this tulip is fabulous, Rosie. Perfect choice of texture for the image, too.

I'm so sorry you've been sick, Rosie, and I hope those antibiotics work real soon for you.

We are getting snow here again this weekend. Just a little, but it's so cold. :-(

Our corcuses are beginning to show their leaves though, so I am taking that to be a sign that spring is just around the corner!

You take care of you, dear friend!

xo.
