Flowers

It happened again... - I went out to take a picture for my 365 project and came home with yet another flower photo (and to be honest not just one but several...)!

Somehow, I feel strangely uncomfortable with shooting anything else than flowers these days and I was giving myself a hard time about that fact. But, hey, with the challenge of low light months just around the corner and the prospect of having to deal with my tripod and taking pictures indoors, I decided to surrender to any flower that throws itself in front of my camera... ;-)

Have a wonderful Sunday!

This is gorgeous Rosie, and I totally understand what you are saying. I am the same way. There could be many beautiful things to photograph, but if there is one flower nearby, that will become my photograph. I think part of it, is when you start taking the close ups of them (like you've done here), you realize just how amazing Mother Nature truly is, and how much you may have missed before seeing them through a lens.

Rosie, this is beautiful. I find myself shooting a lot of flowers too. I think it is preparation for flower withdraws from the next season!! I love your art.

I do just exactly the same,in fact have a look inside my Flickr photostream and you understand what I am talking about.I think it could be an obsession with the beauty of flowers?....no worries, you will find someone soon begging for a shooting with you...not with a gun ,of course! heheh

I, too, have taken a number of flower shots lately. The weather here in NC is gorgeous, though, and walking is a joy. I love the pink and the green. The drop is quite a bonus.

all I take is flower shots and more flower shots! in a couple of months there will be none left so we should just enjoy it and this is a beautiful beautiful shot!

It's just lovely - the bokeh is really wonderful!

I loved your roses, too! Oh, gasp, I miss roses!!! I haven't had a bush for three summers, now. BUT, my garden is almost all in - next year! =]

I hope that, not only has your sinusitis gone away, but that you're all caught up from being down for a while!

Love, Katy

I for one am happy to stare at your lovely flowers for the rest of the darker seasonal months! :) Gorgeous, I love those drops.
