Macro Friday

It's Macro Friday at Blogging from Bolivia and I took the opportunity to have a go at this amaryllis. It was a quite a battle with the tripod and I'm not completely satisfied, but this one is the best I could get. I'm looking forward to seeing your macros at Blogging from Bolivia!

That sinusitis has come back rather fiercely, so I'll be signing off now for the weekend and wish you a happy and healthy Friday! Enjoy your weekend!

Wonderful shot Rosie. Look like the pollen was almost touching the lens!
I sure hope you are feeling better soon.
Have a good and restful weekend.

It's breathtaking! I don't have the patience to drag out my tripod and set it up, but I need to start doing that. I certainly can't hold as still as I need to for a macro shot.

That is lovely - so worthwhile bringing out the tripod to capture this - I'm so lazy with my tripod.

This is beautiful, I love how the stamens are reaching out at me.
Sinusitis? Oh what a stinker - that feeling that you've just done 10 rounds with Mike Tyson. And lost. I do hope you're feeling better now.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, hope you come back again soon!

I don't know what you're saying, about not being satisfied with this photo. I mean, I can understand if it's not exactly what you intended. But it's still a beautiful macro photo! I love the softness, and the shades of green and pink that are surrounding the middle.

Oh my goodness, Rosie! When I clicked on this photo, the enlargement was so realistic — it looked like I could reach into my computer screen and touch the pollen granules.

Wonderful macro!

Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving such a thoughtful comment :-)
