Another One

I haven't participated in Lisa's Creative Exchange for quite a while now, due to time issues and then somehow nothing seemed to qualify for the challenge (in my eyes, not Lisa's I must add!).

So, what's so creative in yet another tulip shot? - nothing really, I must admit, only that I put my whole heart into this photo. Just looking at those flowers on a grey and dreary day cheers me up and although I'm so stressed out at the moment I took the time to set up the tripod and enjoyed having a little photo shoot with them. And to perfect my creative feeling I edited the photo in Photoshop Elements and added one of Kim Klassen's textures to it.

So - sufficiently creative or not - I decided to link this up to the Creative Exchange today and I'm looking forward to seeing all the other entries.

Have a wonderful and creative Monday!

Hey I love tulips too but tulips are bad for dogs. I'm sure they make purrfect gifts for adults. ;-)

just reading sweepy's comment and don't know quite why you would give a tulip to a dog but anyway.....I absolutely love this shot, I love the vibrancy and the angle you have taken it with just the top of the vase showing, it makes for a fantastic shot. It is so grey here I think I will go and buy a bunch of tulips to brighten things up!

Rosie - The most important thing is that it's from your heart, and you have done that here! The work you did on it is a bonus!! I love your tulips, especially since as of late there is an amazing lack of them in the stores here. I am guessing this is because everyone is in dire need for a little spring!!

Thank you so much for sharing this today at the Creative Exchange. It is made even more special by the fact that I know how busy you have been.

Have a wonderful rest of the day.

What a beautiful capture. I can see why you get so much pleasure from looking at these colourful and gorgeous flowers especially at this time of year..

Sorry to hear that you are stressed at the moment. Hope things improve for you soon.

Your lovely tulip shot certainly cheered me up on this dreary, wet day!

Hi Rosie, I love your tulip shot, and the angle you chose is perfect. This is a beautiful reminder that spring is almost here!

Rosie you always manage to capture the perfect tulip shot, I just love the angle of this one. I have real trouble keeping tulips at home, they always seem to wilt in the heat and never look anything like yours. Very envious!

Fantastic shot, Rosie. Can't wait to see some flowers around her. Still have over a foot of snow on the ground.

I LOVE this perspective and this beautiful color! I, too, have been photographing tulips....I need to get my tripod and get the macro that I really want. Beautiful shot, Rosie!

Tulips are always winners and I like how this one just spills out of the frame. I will be traveling to The Biltmore this spring and I plan on bringing a tripod this year to take 100's of photos of the spring flowers. And boy, do they have tulips of every color! I adore the close up in the post below, too!

Well, Ms. Rosie, that is a beautiful tulip! You did a great job -- I just love the bright contrast of color and texture. Brava!

This is lovely, both the perspective and that colour. Exactly what is needed to brighten a grey day.

Sorry work continues to be so stressful. I'm glad that photography and The Creative Exchange managed to take your mind elsewhere for at least a short while.

Like the angle you have chosen here. Works really well. I really should use a tripod more it allows you angles I could never achieve! It seems things have been hectic for some time now. I do hope there is an end in sight.
