Florabella Texture
This might be my only shot of lilacs as rain mixed with snow has been forecast for the next days, which will most likely turn the lilacs into a brownish sad sight (as already happened to the magnolias here).
I'll link this up to Lisa's Creative Exchange and can't wait to see what the other participants have contributed.
Have a good start into the week!

Rosie, these are lovely! I don't think I can grow lilacs here, it's too dry. I bet they smell heavenly!
Beautiful lilac, I like them very much.
Wonderful shot of my formerly favorite flower! I'm so sorry you will be getting cold weather again.....
Same weather forecast here Rosie, but my lilacs are not much different now than they were last week (just tiny buds!).
This one is beautiful! I love the deep color. My fingers are crossed that you do not get the weather that has been forecast for you.
Thank you so much for sharing this today at The Creative Exchange.
Have a wonderful day!
lisa.
I can't say I've ever seen lilacs, but would think they smell devine. Glad to seen spring is springing.
Oh, I can almost smell them... Lovely!
I absolutely love lilacs, my mother had the most beautiful ones in her garden at the weekend but it's bad luck to have them in the house so I didn't pick any. I love this shot.
Since I'm not in the best climate to grow lilacs, I'm sure enjoying yours. Beautiful cluster.
Gorgeous!
Oh no, snow! Our lilacs are already done, about two weeks ago. I missed photographing them this year. I'm glad you captured these before they disappeared!
Gorgeous shot - I hope your cold weather passes quickly :)
Beautiful! I'll bet they smell heavenly.
So beautiful. I'm partial to a green and purple color palette.
you have lilacs already. We have to wait another week or two. Maybe for the better. We had some hail today. :(
This is so beautiful, Rosie!
And they smell heavenly?
Oh how I wish we have them in Heaven!
Lilacs are my faves!!!! they smell so great...really beautiful work!!!!
I've never seen this strain of lilacs, these are beautiful, what a super, super shot.
This is such a beautiful shot.. Such a shame to see them turn brown I bet...
Hugs, Linda
I love this shade of lilac -- almost a raspberry color.
Ours are just starting to bud. Should be full out blossoms by next week.
Gorgeous treatment, Rosie! :)
I love your description "photo walk". Mine often turn out to be just that! I love the snail below - I've never seen one and I can't imagine where you live where you have magnolias and snow is predicted! I'm lovin' NC weather right now. (minus the tornado clouds passing over our head...)
that would be so sad if mother nature killed these beautiful blooms! here's hoping she doesn't!
What a lovely color your lilacs are! Hope Mother Nature lets the blossoms last a bit longer.
Oh, I love it. All our blossoms are gone due to the rain, snow and freezing nights. It might be next year before I see spring.
I love lilacs, they smell so beautiful but, like Justine, I don't bring them into the house (bad luck). I hope the weather doesn't harm them.
Absolutely lovely shot of a lovely flower!
Wow, stunning color. I hope your lilacs are not ruined by rain or that dreaded SNOW? Seriously? Enough already....
Love the texture on this, so subtle.
Beautiful flowers, convey so much beauty and I love them. Greetings
Hmmmm...snow on lilacs. That's not so unusual here in NE Oregon, but our lilacs don't even bloom until late May. My lilac bushes aren't even leafed out yet. That doesn't mean that there won't be snow on them when they do, though! I can almost smell the lilac scent!
So gorgeous. Hope the snow goes before it gets there. Would be a shame to ruin the lilacs!
This looks like an old fashioned lilac bush. They are wonderful. I have dwarf lilacs. They aren't as deep a purple, but just as fragrant! Lovely blossoms. Nicely done.
Isn't that ashame... at least you was able to capture its beauty, if only once! =)
So sorry about the snowy forecast!
your photography is beautiful, and these lilacs are gorgeous!! i hope they fare through your weather! thanks so much for visiting my blog!! :))
Oh, this is pretty. I love lilacs, I hope yours survive...mine doesn't even have leaves yet!
