Creative Exchange

I have the feeling that summer is slipping through my fingers. I spend the finest hours of the day in the office, where my sinuses keep struggling with the air conditioning (which is also blowing much too cold for my liking, leaving me sipping hot tea almost all the time) and when I'm finally free to enjoy the sun one thunderstorm chases the next one and then there is rain, even hail and an abrupt drop of temperature.

The forecast for this week says that tomorrow will be a warm and sunny day (the last one for this week), so I plan to leave early and then enjoy the rest of the day. I might just take my camera with me and maybe find a few flowers that survived the last storms - just as the ones above I found last week.

Now, I'm heading over to Lisa's blog to link my post up to her Creative Exchange - see you there.

Have a wonderful week!

Is this coreopsis? What a riot of yellow blooms! By all means, take your camera when you leave early, Rosie. "Don't leave home without it!" ;-)

Such vibrant yellow Rosie. Seems unfair that office conditions are making you ill. Any chance to move a desk? I know that sounds simple, sorry. I'm sure you've considered options.
I hope tommorrow is filled with sun and beautiful flowers just for you.

So many pretty blooms! Great capture, Rosie. I know what you mean about the sinus condition. It's horrible this year.

Hope you see some more pretty flowers to photo. :)

Hi Rosie, sorry to hear about your summertime woes, just know you are in good company with many of us who struggle with AC on or AC off; hmmmmm, which is better. I go from hot to cold and vice versa and start to sneeze. It's a vicious cycle. I hope you get out to enjoy some beautiful weather and take some of your fantastic photos.:)

What a beautiful photograph Rosie!
It is truly the "picture" of summer.
I am so glad that you will be able to leave work early tomorrow. Make sure you do, and then do something just for you!!

Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful photograph today at The Creative Exchange.

Have a great evening, and take care of you my dear friend.

Such a pretty array of bright yellow flowers! Well I no longer work but my 4 year old daughter and I have been virtually marooned in our home thanks to the 100F+ temperatures every day. I made it out for an hour this morning to the nature trail and was practically melting. I hope you make it out early tomorrow and get to take some photos.

Love the golden colors! We had a bit of a storm today too. But we really needed it. Hope you have sunny days soon.

If you ever get tired of all that rain, send it to Arkansas, particularly the northwest corner of Arkansas. In return, I'll send you 90 degree and upwards temps and plenty of dry weather! ; )

Hope you have a great day tomorrow!

So pretty Rosie, and I do hope you get to enjoy some of your day before the rain. :-) I feel the same when I leave for work early in the morning when it's the nicest outside...I could be enjoying my coffee, but instead it's off to work, then afterwards, it's so very hot to enjoy.
