... when the sun is shining. I don't want to sound like a broken record but after all that rain this summer I seem to soak up every little ray of sunlight... it makes so happy!
I know the feeling, only I feel that way about rain! LOL It's funny how when you get "too much" of something it affects your mood. Hope you have lots more sunshine this week!
I find myself doing the same thing Rosie. We had a good summer weather-wise, but I also know that fall is just around the corner, so I am cherishing every bit of the warm sunshine.
This is a wonderful photograph. The light you captured is just beautiful!
I hear ya, Rosie. We had a couple of rainy days too and today is beautiful. Took a hike with family and friends. Photos on my blog CarmichaelChronicles.blogspot.com if you'd like to take a peek.
Oh, we have so much sunlight to spare with a bonus of burning hot air! Wish I could give you half--even a quarter of it--and you could share your rain with us. Wouldn't that be wonderful?
Look how pretty the rain made the roses! I've stayed inside out of the hot sun w/the blinds drawn to keep the heat out. I'm like you with the rain. I need sunlight but cooler temps!
I was away from home when you posted this...so I missed it. Beautiful capture of the flowers and sunshine, Rosie. I'm sorry you've had so little of the sun....once summer started, we've had a good one.
Any day when the sun is shining feels so much better than when it's cloudy or raining. It's the first thing I notice when I awake in the morning and sets the mood for the day. Right there with ya sistah!

Oh I do know what you mean about sunshine...it does lighten the spirits. Hope the sun shines on you all week.

We've actually had our fair share of sun and rain, but I prefer the sun. I hope the rest of the summer is sunny for you!
Love the gentle colors in your photo today. And the petals on the walk just make it perfect. :)
You are loving the sun, and I'm craving a bit of rain - isn't that the way it goes.
I love how this flower is so heavy in bloom and droops over the brick path. The dappled light in the back is wonderful.
I agree. Love the sunshine :)

Hugs, Linda
a lovely shot, I envy you the sunshine, it is horrid and wet here.
Please send some over to us as its cold and wet! Such a pretty photo. Love the scattering of petals on the path.
Oh I will sooo take the rain. I miss it. Beautiful flowers!
It certainly looks as though the flowers are benefitting from all that rain, they look glorious!

Love your pretty photo. That's too bad you haven't had much sun, especially since summer is winding down.
Lovely photo Rosie... and thanks for the postcard I received in the Liberate Your Art Challenge.
It's always nice to see the sun after a few days of grey skies. This is a lovely photo and I can see how pretty the light is.
