From Summer Break to August Break

Finally, summer has arrived and I decided to enjoy it as much as possible and have a little "online summer break".

I thought some of you were doing the same, but coming here today I discovered that my Feedly feed didn't work quite as it should. I'll work on that - until then I apologize for not visiting...

Due to the crazy weather some flowers didn't bloom as expected, but you can always count on cosmos to show up, can't you? I was so happy to discover this beauty on one of my photo walks:

Speaking of breaks - today, Susannah Conway's August Break starts again. It's always such a nice atmosphere and considering it was during August Break 2010, I met some of you, I'm happy to participate again. You can read about all the "rules" here.

This year, Susannah also gave a list of prompts, and although I often have difficulties with taking pictures for prompts, I managed to do it today. So here is a photo of my breakfast - I love to start the day with fresh fruit, especially in summer:

Hi Rosie, Yummy breakfast, if they are peaches my favourite. The cosmos are just starting to bloom in my garden, another year of photo opportunities.

Is seems so long ago when we first started the August break! Love the light coming through your cosmos. I read your note on my blog, if you get to Sydney you must come and stay!

This cosmos is beautiful, Rosie! And it's white!!! My favorite.

As I have been visiting blogs today, I have been seeing a lot of breakfasts. I am not at all a breakfast eater, but I am surely being inspired to give it another try! :-)

Have a wonderful evening, my friend. xo.

I'm going to try to hit this AB if I can. Maybe the whole not talking much will help. It's way quicker. Happy day Rosie.

I forgot where August Break was located! I'm already two days behind...and I'll be away from my computer for a week in the middle of the month when our youngest son gets married. I guess I'll miss August Break this year. ;-( Love your breakfast image!
