Today the Sunday Creative challenge is hosted by
Justine and the prompt is "obsolete". As mostly with prompts I was completely at a loss and then took a walk hoping for inspiration...
I found this chair which meets the definition "no longer in general use" (I wouldn't want to sit on this one...) and obviously it has been "replaced by something newer or better", so here it is, my "obsolete" entry. I'm only sorry it wasn't disposed of properly.
Have a creative Sunday and enjoy looking at all the entries at
Justine's blog.

what a great find for the prompt, a really great shot, I wonder if they replaced it with a really trendy new chair!
I wouldn't want to sit on it either, but it is surely perfect for the prompt, and wonderfully captured. Have a wonderful day Rosie!
What a cool capture...and very appropriate!
Perfect image for the theme! Don't you wonder why people dispose of items like this in this manner?
A very appropriate image! I love the fact that it looks as though it is about to be absorbed into the autumn leaves!
Great ideia! I first thought it might be a small table (at Justine's blog) but then I realized the obvious truth.
A perfect shot for this Prompt. I really love the color of all the leaves.. It just stinks that someone had to dump there trash like this..
I love this, perfect for Obsolete. Looks so strange dumped in the area with all the leaves!
Oh my Rosie, looks like you found the first office chair I had at my first job. I tried smoking to fit in with the other girls and got called away from my desk. While I was gone the cigarette burned down, rolled off the ashtray and onto my chair. Looked not quite as bad as in this photo though. I never smoked again. I was luck I didn't get fired........... Great shot, and thanks for the memory. I had forgotten about that.
What a great photo....this poor chair looks as though it has had its insides eaten out by some carnivorous corporate scavenger.
this photo is so incongrous it makes me chuckle! lovely autumn leaves and WHAT? oh, i thought this was going to be such a romantic subject... great take on the prompt!
