I must admit that I don't have green fingers when it comes to herbs... therefore here, quick, a capture of my basil, as long as it still looks green and photogenic in the light that's coming through the kitchen window.
What made today's shooting so extra pleasant was the scent of the basil wafting up to my nose every time I moved it around in the light. Do you love the scent of herbs, too?

Beautiful. Love the smell of fresh herbs. I do not grow them because my green thumb refuses to work. LOL
No herbs in my house....very little green anything, in fact! Love the color and the light in this photo!
I absolutely love basil, it just goes with tomato and olive oil, so simple and so wonderful, evokes summer and Italy to me, lovely shot and a nice bit of green to brighten the day.
Wonderful shot. I love the smell and taste of basil. I cant seem to keep herbs healthy in the winter. I think my house is far too cold for them :(
Ha, ha, you sound as if you are as bad as me! Although based on your previous shot you certainly know how to grow orchids. Loved the post!
Great photo.
I am sure it tastes as great as it looks.
I have to say I also love basil.. And another favorite of mine is rosemary.. Your photo looks wonderful! You can almost smell it! Hee Hee!
Hugs, Linda
Love the taste and smell of fresh herbs. This gives me spring fever! Great photo.
Thanks btw for the photoshop advice. It helped me decide (Photoshop Elements 9). I'm going shopping tonight! :)
Love growing my own herbs. Especially basil, oregano, and rosemary!! Great shot!
