As my orchids are still blooming I took the opportunity to have another go at them. I converted one of them into black and white for my entry at The Long Road to China.
Aren't orchids wonderful?? Here, right now, we are getting some of the worst winter has to offer, but my "little guys" just keep on blooming! It is such a wonderful shot of color when everything else is so gray. And the blooms last for SO long. Love this photograph Rosie, especially in b&w!
I love this! It looks great in black and white. I really should join in black and white wednesday so I would get more practice with converting. Maybe next week.

Very pretty.
Oh, so pretty, Rosie! I try with orchids, but I just don't have the right light or conditions. My son in NY has much more luck with them. ;-)
