Morning Rush

Taking photos of people - especially strangers - is a real challenge for me, even if they show only their feet as Darrah Parker suggested in her course Slice of Life Project. This photo is taken with my point-and-shoot camera on my way to work.

I converted it into black and white as my entry for Black and White Wednesday at The Long Road to China, where already quite a number of photos are waiting to be admired!

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Love this Rosie...cool angle. Interesting how most of the gaits are similar in length.

I love this. It really peaks the curiosity & makes you wonder into the lives of each of those feet. Very interesting!

Love it.... and how you've captured the movement. (When I visited NYC last spring, I was so hesitant to take street photos...but I wanted to so badly!)

Great shot, Rosie. You had to think quickly to get that one. I love how Susan noticed that their gaits are similar in length. I also love the action of the feet.

This is a wonderful shot! I am yet to attempt anything like this, just the thought of all that motion seems very daunting. Well Done!

Great shot Rosie. I feel so apart of the moment I feel like I should be running somewhere.
I have a hard time taking pictures of strangers too...

I like your photo so much - very busy feel to it. I feel it's hard to take photos of strangers too - makes me feel awkward sometimes. You did great.

I love this shot - you've captured a wonderful sense of movement not only from the moving legs, but from the slightly askew angle, and hight contrast B & W sets it off beautifully.
